Definition: Estimated percentage of public school students in grades 7, 9, 11, and non-traditional programs who were bullied or harassed at school in the previous year on the basis of (i) a physical or mental disability, (ii) gender, (iii) race/ethnicity or national origin, (iv) religion, or (v) sexual orientation, by parent education level (e.g., in 2017-2019, an estimated 22.2% of California students in grades 7, 9, 11, and non-traditional programs whose parents did not finish high school had been bullied/harassed in the previous year for a bias-related reason).
