'Foster youth' are (a) children who have been declared dependents of the court due to the presence or risk of maltreatment, including those living at home and those in out-of-home placements, (b) children who have violated criminal laws and been ordered by the court to be removed from home, and (c) non-minor dependents participating in transitional living case plans. Data exclude California Education Authority enrollees and students in State Special Schools. The notation S refers to percentages that have been suppressed because there were fewer than 20 foster youth enrollees. N/A means that data are not available.
