Definition: Estimated percentage of women with a live birth who before age 14 lived in families in which they or a family member went hungry because the family could not afford enough food (e.g., an estimated 9.5% of California women with a live birth in 2013-2014 had lived in families in which they or a family member went hungry because the family could not afford enough food).
