Definition: Estimated percentage of children ages 0-17 with special health care needs (CSHCN) admitted to a hospital overnight in the previous year, by type of health insurance coverage (e.g., in 2009-2010, 11.8% of California CSHCN with public insurance had an overnight hospital stay in the previous year).
