Definition: Estimated percentage of adults with caregiving responsibilities for children ages 0-17 whose household members (i.e., themselves, their children, or others) had and had not accessed mental health care remotely via telehealth (i.e., through phone or video appointment) in the period after the COVID-19 outbreak in March 2020, by timing of most recent use and household income level (e.g., in Wave 4 (Jun. 3 – Jun. 29, 2022), 15.1% of California caregivers living in households with annual incomes below $30,000 had household members who most recently used telehealth for mental health care at the beginning of the pandemic when most doctor's offices were closed).
