Definition: Estimated percentage of adults with caregiving responsibilities for children ages 5-17 whose children's schools closed in the period after the COVID-19 outbreak in March 2020 and were still closed at the time of questionnaire, by presence of children with special health care needs (CSHCN) in the household (e.g., in Wave 4, the children of 10.6% of California caregivers with school-aged children living in households with one or more CSHCN were still experiencing closure of their school).
