Definition: Estimated percentage of adults with caregiving responsibilities for children ages 0-17 who had and had not accessed the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (CalFresh) before and after the COVID-19 outbreak in March 2020, by timing of use and presence of children with special health care needs (CSHCN) in the household (e.g., in Wave 2, 8.7% of California caregivers living in households with one or more CSHCN had started using CalFresh during the pandemic after not using it before the pandemic).
