Definition: Estimated percentage of children ages 0-17 living with a grandparent householder who is responsible for the care of grandchildren in the household, by legislative district (e.g., in 2016-2020, 3% of California children were in the care of grandparents).

Footnote: These estimates are based on a survey of the population and are subject to both sampling and nonsampling error.
